Confirmed Celtic Starting XI v Atalanta: Kyogo Benched For Idah
As Celtic look forward to taking on Atalanta in Bergamo tonight in the Champions League, Brendan Rodgers has thrown a spanner in the works with his team selection.
With a lot of attention on who the Irishman would select in midfield, he has made a shock call up front.

Rodgers appears to have favoured Adam Idah’s impact in the second half against Borussia Dortmund in Germany last time out, where the Irish striker was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.
Choosing Reo Hatate over Paulo Bernardo is also related to Hatate’s goal at the weekend against Aberdeen and his impact off the bench, like Idah against Dortmund, with the rest of the starting 11 as expected.
It’s two massive calls from Rodgers, but it’s also a huge Game in the Champions League.
As manager, he is trusted to make these decisions.
For much of the season, Rodgers has seemed back to his very best as a coach, and every Celtic supporter will be hopeful that he has made the right choices.
Making three changes from the team that played against Dortmund highlights that he is learning from such a poor defeat in Germany.
