The Las Vegas Raiders are preparing for a crucial Week 12 matchup against their long-time rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams are entering the contest after suffering losses in their previous games. However, the Raiders are determined to defend their home turf and win against a Chiefs team experiencing unexpected struggles.

The Las Vegas Raiders (5-6) have reported eight players as injured for their Sunday, November 26 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs (7-3) at Allegiant Stadium. Meanwhile, the Chiefs (7-3) have five players on their injury report. The game is scheduled to start at 4:25 PM ET.

In their last five head-to-head matchups, the Kansas City Chiefs have always emerged victorious against the Las Vegas Raiders. Moreover, Kansas City has scored 190 points in their previous five Games against Las Vegas, while the Raiders have only managed to score 74 points.

Las Vegas Raiders

Maxx Crosby is unlikely to play in the upcoming Game, as he has been sidelined from practice this week due to a knee injury. Interim Head Coach Antonio Pierce stated that they closely monitor his condition and provide treatment around the clock. Crosby, who usually plays every snap, needs to be taken care of, and the team hopes he can make a comeback on Sunday.

Additionally, T Kolton Miller is questionable after missing the last two Games with a shoulder injury. Three other Raiders, S Marcus Epps, LB Robert Spillane, and S Roderic Teamer, are also questionable, with neck, ankle, and hamstring injuries, respectively.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have been struggling with their offense all season, and one major issue has been their wide receivers. Unfortunately, their already thin group has been injured, with two of their most dynamic playmakers out. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been placed on injured reserve due to a thumb sprain, while wide receiver Kadarius Toney has been ruled out for Sunday’s Game against the Las Vegas Raiders. This is even though Toney was a full participant in practice all week.

The Kansas City Chiefs only signed one free-agent wide receiver this offseason, James. Unfortunately, he was injured in the season’s early stages and had to sit out. However, James might be ready to return after completing his practice window. According to Dave Toub, the Chiefs’ preferred return specialist, James is their top choice if he’s fit. Moreover, he could also play a role in the offense.

Andy Reid stated that James was activated last week and could be up for Week 12. With the Chiefs aiming for a dependable receiving option, James’s return could significantly help the offense. The NFL named James the most reliable receiver of the 2022 NFL season. His presence could boost the offense, particularly in the second half of games.
