The Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals meet Saturday in NFL preseason week 2 action at Soldier Field. Here’s a Chicago Bears vs Cincinnati Bengals Prediction. This article will include a Cincinnati Bengals vs Chicago Bears Pick.

Caleb Williams Looked Good for the Bears

It was only Caleb WIlliams first Game action in the NFL and we shouldn’t try to overreact but he did look good and Chicago Bears fans have to be excited. Caleb Williams completed 4 of his 7 passes for 95 yards and he helped lead the Bears to a 33-6 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Tyson Bagnet, Austin Reed, and Brett Rypien also all got snaps. Reed completed 2 of his 4 passes for 50 yards. Ian Wheeler had a strong Game on the ground rushing 5 times for 43 yards and two touchdowns. The Bears’ offense was sure impressive, and they are going to need the offense to run up the score again in this Game. It’s unclear how much Williams is going to play in this Game, but the Bears are going to need to him to be good.

Bengals Fell Just Short in the First Game

The Bengals fell just short in the first Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They did end up scoring two touchdowns, but the 14 points weren’t enough as the defense ended up giving 17 points. Logan Woodside did have a strong offensive Game completing 8 of his 12 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown. Jake Browning also had a strong Game, completing 10 of his 18 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. One area the team is going to need to improve is with the running Game. Chase Brown was the top rusher, but he finished with 5 carries for 10 yards. The Bengals offense is going to need to be more balanced. The team has high expectations for Browh this season

Chicago Bears vs Cincinnati Bengals Prediction

The way the Bears offense scored in the first Game was quite impressive and they are going to have no issue running up the score here. The Bengals offense only scored 17 points in the last Game, and it’s going to be much the same here. 17 points isn’t going to be enough here, and it’s going to be the Bears that are going to have no issue cruising to the victory. Back the Bears against the spread.

Shane Mickle's Free Pick: Bears -6.5
