Jayson Tatum over 27.5 points (-108)

Despite getting criticized for a lack of production on the offensive end in the first 2 games, Jayson Tatum was never really bothered by that and he showed it in Game 3. He scored a team-high 31 points, pushing the Celtics alongside Jaylen Brown to the brink of winning their first title since 2008. With another big-time performance in a potential series-clinching game, Tatum has the opportunity to also win the NBA Finals MVP award.

Going into Game 4, the oddsmakers favor Brown to win the MVP award which is understandable considering his numbers and the work he’s put in on the defensive end on Doncic, but all of that can change if we get a vintage scoring game from Tatum here. Efficiency hasn’t been his strong suit in this series, but the law of averages tells us his numbers should even out, so I believe Tatum will go for close to 30+ points in Game 4 on Friday.

Kyrie Irving over 2.5 made threes (-108)

Dallas losing in Game 3 certainly wasn’t Kyrie Irving’s fault. The most experienced Maverick did his best to carry the team with 35 points on just under 50% shooting from the field, playing an exhausting 45 minutes. Luka Doncic didn’t do Kyrie any favors by fouling out with around 4 minutes left in the Game, and this Dallas team simply doesn’t have enough weapons on offense so is forced to rely heavily on Kyrie and Luka.

Being the comPetitor that he is, you just know Kyrie won’t go down without a fight here. He knocked down 4 of 6 three-point attempts in Game 3, and he was 1 of only 2 Maverick players to connect on multiple threes in that Game alongside PJ Washington. After a dominant 35-point performance on Wednesday, I expect Kyrie to knock down at least 3 threes in Game 4 in an attempt to avoid the sweep.

Jrue Holiday to record 1+ steals (-260)

Prior to Game 3, Jrue Holiday was the frontrunner to win the NBA Finals MVP award. That’s just how good he has been for the Celtics in this series. Scoring just 9 points won’t blow you away, but all the intangibles he has done in the 42 minutes he spent on the court in Game 3 are some of the key reasons why Boston was able to win that game. His defense on both Doncic and Irving has been spectacular with both of them are shooting well under 50% for the series, and that’s all you need to know about the impact Holiday has had in the Finals.

He’s recorded at least 1 steal in all 3 games of the NBA Finals, improving his run of games with at least 1 steal to 12 in 17 played this postseason. Closing out an opponent is the hardest game in basketball, but Jrue has already been in this position when he won the title with the Milwaukee Bucks back in 2021. There’s no doubt in my mind he will once again play a huge role in the Celtics finishing the job on Friday night.
