Celtic has hired current B team coach Darren O’Dea as their new Professional Player Pathway Manager, a move announced on the club’s official website.

He’ll be coordinating closely with the Head of Celtic’s Youth Academy, Chris McCart, while also working with Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers. His main focus? To streamline the development of players ready to don the Hoops and manage loan opportunities that bolster their growth. It’s a very important role for the future of the Celtic first team.
