Callum O’Hare Celtic Transfer Update

Despite no concrete recruitment structure at the club, Celtic have already been linked with a few players ahead of the summer window.

Ugurcan Cakir of Trabzonspor has heavily been mentioned, along with Callum O’Hare. The Hoops were said to be monitoring the midfielder last month.

An update has now revealed that the club do have ‘genuine interest’ in the Coventry City man, but they face vast comPetition from several English Premier League and Championship sides (Football Scotland).

The 25-year-old, who has nine goals from midfield this season, is said to be an attractive option for the Celts because his contract expires this summer, meaning he is available on a free transfer.

Any deal to sign O’Hare would be astute, but given the comPetition Celtic might face, a move seems unlikely.

One can never say never and although he would be a shrewd acquisition when teams from England’s top flight get involved, it is difficult for the Bhoys to comPete.
