Rodgers Big Starting XI Call: Celtic vs Aberdeen
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his starting 11 to face Aberdeen this afternoon in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.
With two huge changes from last weekend’s 3-0 win over St. Mirren at Celtic Park, supporters will be delighted to see two first-team regulars return to the starting 11.
The importance of a cup semi-final is clearly evident in the Irishman’s thinking ahead of the match, as the Hoops look to reach yet another Scottish Cup Final.

It’s clear that Liam Scales and Callum McGregor are both first-choice in their respective positions, with Tomoki Iwata and Maik Nawrocki possibly feeling hard done by not starting against Peter Leven’s side after an impressive display last Saturday.
With Daizen Maeda out injured, the majority of Celtic’s starting 11 has taken shape week in, week out, with four of the back five starting consistently.
With his return from injury, Reo Hatate has permanently displaced Paulo Bernardo and has looked incredible with a goal last weekend.
Adam Idah may also feel aggrieved, having scored off the bench against St. Mirren and Rangers in the previous two Games.
However, with Kyogo Furuhashi also netting against St. Mirren, that is the reason why he gets the nod upfront.
Today’s match kicks off at 12:30pm and is live on BBC One Scotland and Premier Sports 1.
