Bronny James Slowly Moving Up Multiple Teams’ NBA Draft Boards
Bronny James’ decision to enter the 2024 NBA Draft caught many people off guard.
Generally speaking, college players who average 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game don’t make an immediate jump to the pro ranks.
That being said, Bronny is obviously a special case. As the son of LeBron James, arguably the greatest player of all time, he gets certain leeway from scouts.
Despite that the expectation has been that he would be a very late pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
During a recent appearance on the ‘Green Light’ podcast, Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle suggested that may not be the case though.
“I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict that he goes quite a bit higher than that,” said Carlisle.
“I’m not going to say who…I’ve been fine enough this year during the playoffs.”
Time will tell if Carlisle ends up being right about that, but if he is saying it, there is probably a reason why.
Where will Bronny ultimately be selected in the 2024 NBA Draft? Time will tell.
