Season 3 of Bridgerton has been split in half, with part one containing the first four episodes already streaming on Netflix and part two set to drop a month later on 13 June 2024. 

Here are the titles of the episodes for Bridgerton season 3 part 2:

• Episode 6 — Romancing Mister Bridgerton
• Episode 7 — Joining of Hands
• Episode 8 — Into the Light

But why split season 3 into two parts in the first place? Well, by spacing out the release over two months, the streaming platform is aiming to retain subscribers with heightened suspense for an extended period.

This approach, previously employed with other Netflix series like Stranger Things and The Crown, ensures a prolonged engagement period from fans.

The ending of Bridgerton season 3 part 1 shows Penelope and Colin in the throes of passion, enjoying their newfound love interest. So, their love story would definitely be the focal point in the second part of season 3. However, there’s a catch: If Colin finds out about Penelope’s double life as the elusive Lady Whistledown from anyone else before she gets to confess, things could just fall through and the attention may shift to the other Bridgerton siblings, Benedict and Francesca’s romance with Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New) and Earl John Stirling (Victor Alli), respectively.

Besides, Lord Debling (Sam Phillips) is an intriguing character and a desirable suitor in season 3 and his love life could also be fleshed out in the second part. For all you know things could get frisky between Pen and him for that extra twist of drama.

Also, it would be interesting to see if and how Colin’s younger sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Pen reconcile their fractured friendship or if she ends up exposing her friends’ dual identities.

Well, with too many plotlines to unravel and tie back up, we can’t wait to see what the next season has in store for us.
