Brendan Rodgers Praised For How He Has The Celtic Players Responding To Title Race
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been praised for how he has his team responding to the demands of the title race.
Indeed, former Celt Charlie Mulgrew believes there is an innate sense of togetherness within the Hoops’ ranks at the minute.
As the season reaches its climax, although Rangers have recently slipped up, things remain tight at the Scottish Premiership’s summit.
The Bhoys sit three points clear with five Games to go but as we have seen across the city, things can change in the blink of an eye.
Mulgrew, though, thinks that gaffer Rodgers has his team clicking into gear, building a sense of unity within the ranks. He said: [PLZ Soccer] “I think he’s shown some great management qualities in terms of having the boys up for the Old Firm Games.
“When things have looked and they’ve been doubted, he seems to have the lads responding, you can clearly see the lads are onside with him.
“When people are starting to question them, they seem to respond every time.
“Celtic are looking strong at the right time, and credit has to go to the manager for how he gets his players to respond to tough times and when questions are asked.”
Having been over the course several times with the Hoops, Rodgers knows what it takes to win titles in Scotland.
He perhaps hasn’t been involved in a title race as tight as the current one, but he seems to be relishing in it.
With five Games to go, the Hoops are in the driving seat as this campaign’s rollercoaster approaches its end.
