Jose Berrios and the Toronto Blue Jays will conclude the season with a series against the Miami Marlins, who are fresh off a 13-inning win in Minnesota last night. Now the Fish must Travel to Toronto, where both teams have nothing to play for except pride.

The Blue Jays had Bowden Francis on a pitch count on Tuesday, as he threw just 71 pitches. The following day, Kevin Gausman threw 93. There is been no indication that Berrios will be on a pitch count in his final start of the year, but this is still a price and number I’m still willing to back. Berrios has been stellar for the past 2 months. He recorded a 2.50 ERA in 6 starts in August with 5 wins. He has followed that up with 3 starts in September thus far for a 1.42 ERA. Even against a Marlins offense that is hitting RHP very well, at +128 on Bet365 and +115 on most other books, it’s too good to pass up.

Taj Bradley (TB) Under 5.5 hits allowed (-135)

I’m targeting another game in which both teams have nothing for which to play. Taj Bradley will battle the Rafael Devers-less Red Sox, who are projected to toss out a lineup with at least four right-handed hitters — a side Bradley has pitched well against this season with a .221 batting average.

Bradley was stellar during the first half of the season with a 2.90 ERA and holding opponents to a .208 batting average. The second half has been a different story. His 5.80 ERA is worrisome, but a potential soft lineup from Boston that hasn’t seen Bradley since May could work in his favor.
