Action on the diamond gets bettors started at 1:05 E.T. and leads us lateLet’s dive into our best MLB player prop bets for Saturday, August 10, but don’t forget you can also find out our experts’ MLB picks for today’s matchups.

Kyle Schwarber (PHI) Over 1.5 hits/runs/rbi (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Kyle Schwarber is one of the most interesting players in baseball. A leadoff hitter that doesn’t offer speed, hits for power, and walks at nearly the best rate in baseball, Schwarber can cash this prop with one swing of the bat. His batting splits this season are just as interesting as him. Against left-handed pitching, Schwarber is hitting .338 while just .213 against right-handed pitching, but .291 since the All-Star break. He’ll be battle-tested against RHP Zac Gallen tonight who he has plenty of History against including two home runs in the playoffs last season.

As impressive as Gallen has been in his tenure with the Diamondbacks, offering Schwarber to register at least two hits/runs/RBI at -115 is one I want action on. Gallen ranks in the bottom half amongst pitchers in xERA and xBA, while allowing right-handed pitchers to hit .255 this season – up from his average last season of .232.

Jurickson Profar (SDP) Over 1.5 hits/runs/rbi (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

If you’re looking for a pitcher to fade on Saturday’s slate, it’s RHP Roddery Munoz. His 6.45 xERA ranks worst in the major leagues while allowing six home runs in his last three starts. With a plethora of San Diego Padres to choose from, I’m siding with Jurickson Profar and his hits/runs/RBI prop priced at -125 on BET365 – now available in Pennsylvania!

Profar is slated to be in the two-hole today after a two-hit showing last night with both coming against right-handed pitching. Since the calendar flipped to August, Profar is hitting .333 against RHP. With most of the Padres hitter’s props juiced to unplayable lines, we’ll side with the switch-hitting Profar.
