Bears vs Texans touchdown scorer predictions at +420 and +290 odds | Pickswise
Sunday Night Football has arrived and we’ve got one heck of a way to round off a wild day of football, as the #1 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, Caleb Williams, will lead the Chicago Bears into battle against the Houston Texans and last season’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, CJ Stroud. Which young quarterback will be celebrating at the end of the night with their team at 2-0? Here at Pickswise, we’ve been hot on our anytime touchdown scorer picks, boasting +4.3 units of profit heading into today’s game. Can we add to that in tonight’s matchup? Here are my best Bears vs Texans touchdown scorer bets for SNF, while you can also find out our NFL picks on the side and total.

Bears vs Texans anytime touchdown scorer pick: Caleb Williams (+420)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
To kick off our Bears vs Texans touchdown scorer picks, we’re going with Williams to find the end zone with his legs. Running the Football himself is nothing new to the rookie, having scored 21 rushing touchdowns in 26 Games for USC over the past couple of seasons. Throwing the ball against the Titans last week didn’t work out too well for Williams, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him taking a few more shots with his legs as a means of moving the chains, especially after seeing it work out for Jayden Daniels and the CoMMAnders in Week 1. The Texans gave up 56 rushing yards and a touchdown to Anthony Richardson last week against the Colts so have proven to be susceptible to those plays. All things considered, these odds seem way too high and I’m happy to get the value and take a shot on Williams scoring a touchdown in his first primetime matchup.

Bears vs Texans anytime touchdown scorer pick: Dalton Schultz (+290)
Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
For my next Bears vs Texans touchdown scorer pick, I’m going with the lethal Houston tight end Dalton Schultz. Chicago’s defense received plenty of plaudits last week for winning the Bears’ Game against the Titans, but they did give up a touchdown to Chigoziem Okonkwo. Schultz only had 3 receptions for 16 yards last week but is a consistent red-zone target for Stroud and should have opportunities to put 6 points on the board, having scored 5 touchdowns in 2023. With the Chicago secondary likely to have its hands full with Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell, Schultz can sneak under the radar and give Stroud a pathway to finding the end zone.
