The Chicago White Sox and the Baltimore Orioles meet Tuesday in MLB action from Oriole Park. Here’s a Baltimore Orioles vs Chicago White Sox prediction. This will be the second installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Orioles vs White Sox pick.

Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

The White Sox played the New York Mets over the weekend. Chicago lost all three of those Games 5-1, 5-3 and 2-0. In their Monday opener versus the Orioles, the Sox took a blowout loss 13-3. Starter Chris Flexen logged three earned in 3.1 innings.

Over on the Orioles’ side, they took on the Colorado Rockies in their last series. Baltimore split the first pair before a 6-1 win in the finale. On Monday the O’s posted 18 team hits in the victory. Baltimore scored six runs in the sixth inning alone.

It’ll be Cade Povich as starter for Tuesday’s matchup. Povich is 1-7 with a 6.58 ERA over the first 11 starts of his career.

Baltimore Orioles vs Chicago White Sox Prediction

I’m siding with the White Sox on a value stab, but not touching it in reality. The potential payoff is enticing but at a certain point you’re just throwing money away as Chicago keeps losing. Nastrini has been good over his last pair of outings, despite going 0-1. In that pair Nastrini has two earned in 10.1 innings on five hits and six walks. As for Povich, he’s given up 10 earned over his last 8.1 innings.

On Monday the Sox bullpen coughed up a ton of runs as usual lately, so it didn’t matter what the bats did. Chicago’s offense couldn’t accomplish much either. I’m staying away from this one.
