The Los Angeles Angels and the Texas Rangers will face off in Austin for Game two of their four-Game divisional set this Tuesday from Globe Life Field. LAA stole Game one in extras, 9-6.
Angels Betting Preview
Los Angeles moved to 37-31 after defeating Texas. The Angels are playing at a high level right now, and this is what fans have been craving with them honing the best duo in baseball. The LAA offense is scoring 4.16 runs per Game, while batting .252, with a .331 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 4.33 ERA, with a 1.27 WHIP. Shohei Ohtani homered twice in the Game one victory, including a 459-yard pimp job, to bring his team-leads to a curvy 20 home runs and 50 RBI. Mike Trout has plated runs in consecutive Games, and he’s posting splits of .255/14/37. Brandon Drury (10 HR, 30 RBI) and Hunter Renfroe (11 HR, 31 RBI) have complimented them nicely in the lineup thus far.
Jaime Barria (2-2, 1.84 ERA, 37 Ks) is set to open for Los Angeles. The longtime Angels pitcher has made fourteen appearances this season, with the last two coming as starts against both Chicago clubs. Barria struck out six in the Southside, and held the White Sox to one run in five innings, then he mirrored that performance against the Cubs at home last week, containing them to two runs over five innings pitched.

Rangers Betting Preview
Texas moved to 41-24 following the loss to Los Angeles. The Rangers have quietly dropped four of their last five after streaking into June, and they’ll look to get back on track Tuesday. The Texas offense is scoring 4.88 runs per Game, while batting .270, with a .339 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 3.77 ERA, with a 1.20 WHIP. Adolis Garcia doubled for the second time in three Games last night, and he leads Texas in home runs (15) and RBI (54). Corey Seager has been on a tear since returning in late May, and after collecting a hit in eight of the last ten Games, he’s leading the AL in batting (.348), with seven homers and 34 RBI. Marcus Semien has recorded a hit seven of the last ten, and he leads the team in hits (79) and runs (57), with nice splits of .288/9/51.
The Rangers have yet to name a starter for the contest, indicating it could be a bullpen day for them.
Anaheim vs Texas Trends
LAA Angels are 34-34 against the spread this season, with a 33-31-4 O/U record. Texas is 41-24 ATS this year, with a 38-25-2 over/under record.
Corey’s Free Pick
Texas had one ripped away from them last night, and I think they flex their muscles this time around. The way the Angels won last night was explosive, with a pair of extra inning bombs effectively putting the host away, and this potent Rangers lineup should be out for vengeance Tuesday evening. Even with it possibly being a bullpen day, let’s back Texas here in this AL West battle, and with the firepower on both sides, give the Over a look again.
