Film writer Poppy Cogan has adapted Jackson’s novel into a six-episode series. FYI, the literary work is a trilogy with a prequel novel that explains the start of the drama. The show is directed by Dolly Wells and produced by Florence Walker. The BBC-commissioned series, produced by Moonage Pictures in collaboration with ZDFneo and Netflix, will premiere in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. All six episodes of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder will be available on BBC iPlayer on Monday, July 1. It will air on BBC Three later that month in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The show is scheduled to be offered by Netflix later this year.

The cast of the show

EMMA Myers, well known for her role as Enid Sinclair, Wednesday’s werewolf rooMMAte on the Netflix comedy Wednesday, will play the series’ brilliant and dedicated Pip Fitz-Amobi.

Her edgy lead role in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a marked departure from her Wednesday character, a cheerful and happy-go-lucky girl with a penchant for colourful hair and clothes.

The plot: What’s the show A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder all about?

Five years ago, popular high school senior Andie Bell was brutally murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh, who subsequently killed himself. At least that’s what Fairview and the cops believe. But half a decade later, Pip Fitz-Amobi, a brilliant and novice detective who is now a high school senior, begins to wonder if that’s the true narrative. She believes the true killer is still out there and that puts everyone, including herself, in danger. Pip joins forces with Sal’s younger brother Ravi to discover the truth.
