Pickswise experts dominate on the diamond
Our props experts continue to deliver as JutPicks went 2-1 with his best bets yesterday to improve our player props run to 14-8. On the diamond, the Dodgers secured a big win over the Padres while the Braves fell to the Pirates.

Buescher beats the field at NASCAR race in Michigan
Chris Buescher took home the checkered flag from the rain-delayed FireKeepers Casino 400 in Michigan on Monday. Buescher was an unexpected champion, but our NASCAR expert dominated in the prop-bet department. He hit 3 of his 4 plays, all of which came in at plus-money odds. Erik Jones finished in the top 10 (+330) and both Denny Hamlin (+115) and Martin Truex Jr. (+140) were in the top 5.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: St. Louis Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Rays Over 8
6:40 pm ET

After a day off for both squads, the St. Louis Cardinals Travel to Tropicana Field to take on the Tampa Bay Rays. It will be Miles Mikolas for the visitors and Zach Eflin on the mound for the Rays. Posting a 4.29 ERA and 1.29 WHIP, Mikolas has had an up-and-down year though finds himself with a 5.90 ERA in his last three outings. He falls well below the league average in several major categories. While the Rays do have a better arm on the mound in this matchup, I’m also high on the Cardinals to continue putting barrel to ball. The Cardinals hit .275 in the month of July and rank 3rd in BA since the all-star break (.274). Eflin has been showing some regression as of late with a 4.85 ERA in July. With all things considered, the over looks a good bet. Read our full Cardinals vs Rays predictions.

Quote of the Day

He’s been disrespecting the game for a while. When he does something like that on the bases, he can get somebody out of the game. So I was telling him to stop doing that. After he tapped me really hard – more than needed – he said he wanted to fight and I had to defend myself.

— Jose Ramirez of the Guardians (in Spanish) on his brawl this past weekend with Tim Anderson of the White Sox. Ramirez was suspended for 3 games on Monday, while Anderson’s ban is 6 games.
