In 2005, he moved to Red Bull and achieved their first podium a year later. Coulthard retired from Formula One racing at the end of 2008. After retiring, he continued working with Red Bull as a consultant and joined the BBC as a commentator and pundit for their coverage of Formula One.

Coulthard, who now serves as an ambassador for the team, was asked to name the top three drivers in Red Bull’s history.

Up to this point, Sebastian Vettel has been the most successful, clinching four titles, while Max Verstappen has secured three for Red Bull.

Well, according to David Coulthard, Max Verstappen stands as the premier driver in the team’s History, followed by Sebastian Vettel in second place and Mark Webber in third.

“That has to be Max, Max and Max,” he teased to Motorsport.

He added: “You can’t take anything away from Seb’s four world titles.”

The Red Bull ambassador also expressed that Mark Webber’s significant contributions during his seven-year tenure with Red Bull place him above Daniel Ricciardo.
