Brazil have famously never missed a World Cup and are extremely unlikely not to qualify for the next edition in the United States, Canada and Mexico in 2026 despite a poor start to qualification, which saw them lose three of their opening six games.

Incredibly, Paraguay have only scored one goal in their first seven qualifiers, but are in the playoff spot after conceding just three times. They held Uruguay in Inter Miami star Luis Suárez’s final ever international Game on Friday.
