Joe Hart is st to hang up his gloves this season after three wonderful years at Celtic.

The veteran goalkeeper was pivotal in helping Callum McGregor and Ange Postecoglou lead Celtic back to becoming champions by using all his experience and leadership skills in the Parkhead dressing room.

In three years at the club, Hart has picked up five trophies out of six which also included the historic record-breaking eighth domestic treble.

In that time he also became only the second ever Celtic player to make a domestic clean sweep of all trophies in both England and Scotland.

And the bond he has also built with the Celtic fans has also been special.

That bond was even solidified recently after a tribute night was held at Parkhead for the Celtic icon.

‘An Evening with Joe Hart’ was a complete success and special guest at the event, Brendan Rodgers, has shared what the legendary ‘keeper told him about the Celtic fans after Hart got a rousing reception on the night.

Rodgers said [Celtic TV], “If you’re a player that doesn’t really know what this club is about and you come into it, you hear all the talk around Celtic being a real family club and the passion of the supporters and the care they give to people.

“That is an example of it. If they did that at the Hydro it would probably have sold out as well.

“But for the club to arrange that for Joe, for the tickets to sell out in one day, and for him to feel that affection, that is what players and people miss when they leave Celtic because it just does not happen in the majority of clubs, that feeling.

“He was just so appreciative of that from speaking to him during and after the event.”

Hart is going to be huge miss both on and off the park after his career comes to an end. His iNFLuence in the dressing room was huge in helping Ange Postecoglou make Celtic the dominant force in Scotland again.

And with a Scottish Cup Final to end his career, the Celtic fans will be hoping that Hart can walk away with another double to add to his list of achievements he has earned throughout his illustrious career.
