WATCH: USMNT star Christian Pulisic scores opening goal in Milan derby with brilliant solo effort
For the second time this week, Christian Pulisic has opened the scoring for Milan within the first 10 minutes against one of the world's best teams. This is quite an important one coming against Inter in the Milan derby, and Pulisic has now scored in three consecutive Games for Milan in all comPetitions and four consecutive Games if you include national team play. On quite a run of form, Pulisic now has three goals and two assists in only five matches and could easily outdo last season's output of 16 goals and 10 assists for Milan.
He'll want this goal to have a better outcome than his Champions League goal midweek against Liverpool. Pulisic scored and then Milan went on to concede three goals losing the match. The team's form hasn't been great under new manager Paulo Fonseca but Pulisic is doing everything that he can to turn the team's form around.

After winning the ball in the middle of the pitch, Pulisic went on a great direct run into the box finishing his chance with ease. Evading an Inter defender and calmly slotting the ball past Yann Sommer, Pulisic's confidence is showing in his play. If Milan can hold on, the result could take them as high as seventh in the Serie A table but nothing can impact a team's form like a big victory over a rival. Milan have learned the hard way that they can't rest on a lead but through Pulisic, they always have a chance to score.
