Watch the end of Endrick’s interview in Spanish
17-year-old Brazilian Endrick will join Real Madrid in the second semester of 2024. As he is currently on vacation from Palmeiras, he took advantage and came to Spain to get to know his future teammates, meet with coach Carlo Ancelotti, and watch his team face Villarreal on Sunday.
In an interview, Endrick spoke with reporters in Spanish, using Portuguese only to describe himself as a potential “pé quente”, which means lucky charm, for Madrid. It seems he was, as they won 4-1 at the Bernabeu.
At the end of the interview, and with a big smile on his face and his thumbs up, Endrick asked, “did I speak well?” He received positive responses from the journalists, to which he laughed and told them thank you. Endrick will join Real Madrid in July 2024.
