Watch: Doncic didn’t know he surpassed Larry Bird in triple-doubles

Snapping a two-Game losing streak, the Dallas Mavericks had a huge 147-97 win over the Utah Jazz and in the process, Luka Doncic became one of the top 10 players in career triple-doubles with his 60th. He now sits at number nine on that list, surpassing Hall of Famer Larry Bird, who had 59.

When he was told about that he’d surpassed Bird after the game, his response was, “did I? That’s pretty amazing!”

Not only that, but Doncic finished the first half with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, becoming the first player in NBA History to reach a 25-point triple-double before halftime. He finidhed the Game with 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.
