VIDEO: Rashee Rice believed to be among men fleeing scene of car accident
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is a suspected driver involved a six-car accident on a freeway in Dallas, Texas. A driver in a Chevrolet Corvette was allegedly racing another driver in a Lamborghini on the highway when they both lost control and caused a major accident involving six different vehicles. Two drivers were treated for minor injuries on the scene and two others were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police are currently searching for Rice as the Corvette is believed to be registered or leased in his name. A video was released which shows several men fleeing the scene. As of now, it’s unclear if Rice is among the group of men who fled, but he is currently being sought for questioning by Dallas police.
Rice was the Chiefs’ second-round pick out of SMU last year and helped take them to the Super Bowl in his rookie season as the leading receiver behind tight end Travis Kelce. He grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas.
