Travis Kelce ‘in awe’ of Taylor Swift’s new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’: report
Travis Kelce is Taylor Swift’s No. 1 fan.
The pop superstar reportedly played her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” for her boyfriend prior to its record-breaking release last Friday — and he loved it.
“He is always in awe of her,” a source told People Wednesday.
Another insider previously told the Daily Mail that Kelce’s favorite tracks were “Down Bad” and “LOML.”
However, he “loves everything he has heard,” the insider shared.
Swift surprised fans last week when she announced “TTPD” was actually a double album — giving Swifties 31 songs to mull over rather than just the original 16.
Although most of the record details her breakups from Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, the songs “So High School” and “The Alchemy” seemingly nod to her romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
“The Alchemy” includes Football references like touchdowns, teams, warming benches, winning streaks, trophies, cheers and even being the greatest in the league.
The bridge also seemingly references the moment Swift, 34, reunited with Kelce, also 34, after he won his third Super Bowl in February.
“Shirt’s off, and your friends lift you up over their heads / Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said,” she sings. “There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league / Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.”

In “So High School,” meanwhile, Swift sings about the giddy feeling of starting a new romance, leaving you feeling like a lovestruck teenager again.
The 14-time Grammy winner also seemingly hints at a resurfaced interview in which Kelce was asked whom he would “kiss, marry or kill” between Swift, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande in 2016.
He ultimately chose to kill the “Thank U, Next” singer, marry the “American Idol” judge and kiss his now-girlfriend.
“Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me (Kill me) / It’s just a Game, but really (Really) / I’m bettin’ on all three for us two (All three),” Swift sings in the first verse.
While the reference could have been a mere coincidence, the newly minted billionaire strategically highlighted her and Kelce’s initials in the song’s lyric video.
“Cheeks pink in the twinkling lights / Tell me ’bout the first time you saw me,” the lyrics read.
While most of the letters were written out in white, the “T” and “K” in “twinkling” and the “T” and S” in “lights” were noticeably a shade of pink.
Ever since the couple started dating last summer, Swift has used the pair’s initials to wink at their relationship — often through clothing.
During the NFL playoffs, the “Cruel Summer” singer subtly supported her beau by rocking a Wove custom Tennis friendship bracelet that spelled out “TNT” — for Taylor and Travis, of course.
Kelce also took part in the fun, wearing a similar gold bracelet that spelled out “T ❤️ T” to his brother Jason Kelce’s retirement press conference.
