I’ll take a stab on the Royals. This one’s going to be iNFLuenced heavily by starter performance. Lugo had a spotty loss to the Orioles back on April 21, giving up four earned on nine hits and a walk in 5.1 innings. Lugo was able to bounce back with 7.0 clean frames in a win over the Tigers in his last outing, though. As for Bassitt, he coughed up seven earned runs on nine hits and three walks in just 2.2 innings versus the Dodgers in his last start. He’ll need a good bounce-back outing Wednesday.

On Tuesday the Royals got a pretty well-rounded effort overall. That said, a few batters went hitless. The bullpen was great following Ragans’ 6.2 innings though, with 2.1 clean frames, no hits, no walks and two strikeouts. KC should have a good chance at keeping it rolling in the finale.
