Pawtucket – 6pm – Joseph Jenks Middle School. Food trucks, music and Games will make for an evening of community camaraderie and festivities! goprovidence.com/event/pawtucket-presents-fireworks-and-food-trucks/40823 – Fireworks will be shot off at McCoy stadium, with festivities taking place across the street, in front of Jenks Middle School. There will be food trucks, a DJ, live music, and Entertainment for children. Fireworks will begin at 9 PM. McCoy Stadium will be blocked off ENTIRELY, per firework safety. No parking or soliciting will be allowed in the McCoy lot.

East Providence – food, concessions and a free rock concert featuring the likes of Merchants of Cool and Kate & the Mongrels at Pierce Memorial Stadium. Bristol – 9:30 p.m. – America’s oldest continuous Fourth of July celebration – Over the Bristol Harbor The historic parade will take place on the actual holiday (learn more here). 

Narragansett – Dusk (approx. 9 p.m.) – Leading up to the fireworks show, the RI Stage Band Alumni, directed by Ted Collins will play at the Town Beach from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by the Night life Orchestra from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Then fireworks. narragansettri.gov/333/upcoming-events 

North Providence – Dusk – First ever fireworks with food trucks at Governor Notte Park. Starts at 3 p.m. and goes on until the last pop, with Classic Blend performing in between around 6 p.m. – facebook.com/events/798079904935196 

Scituate – 5pm – Hope Jackson Fire Department, with food and activities. Fireworks beginning at dusk.

Woonsoscket – 4pm – Festivities with live music, activities, food trucks. World War II Veterans Memorial Park – annual Independence Day celebration – Fireworks 9pm – Rain date July 5th

July 4

New Bedford – 9pm – State Pier, New Bedford – Fireworks

Bristol – 4th of July Parade – fourthofjulybristolri.com 

Newport – Fireworks – 9:15 – rain date slated for Friday, July 5th. Visitors can park in any one of the city’s public parking lots. Some popular spots to watch the display are Perrotti Park, King Park and Queen Anne Square.  cityofnewport.com/en-us/city-hall/city-council/mayor/fireworks 

Providence – Waterfire – sundown

South Kingstown – 9 p.m.  Old Mountain Field in Wakefield. Spectators are welcome to get to the field as early as 5 p.m. to enjoy a live concert by Take it to the Bridge, a variety of food and novelty concessions in the park and a 50/50 raffle. The public is also invited to bring blankets and folding chairs. Alcohol and personal fireworks are prohibited. Also note that Kingstown Road between School Street and Church Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 5–10 p.m., with detours in place, due to expected heavy pedestrian traffic. Coventry – 9:30pm – The Johnson’s Pond Civic Association’s annual fireworks celebration – The fireworks will be lit around 9:30 p.m. and can be viewed anywhere along the pond.

Glocester – 9am – Road Race. 4pm – 98th Ancients and Horribles Independence Day

Fall River – 5pm – live events, food and ice cream trucks – 9pm fireworks over the Taunton River. Tickets are also available to view the fireworks from the deck of the USS Massachusetts. Gates open at 7:30 p.m., and the last admission will be at 8:45 p.m. Tickets are $15 and children under 2 get in free.

New Bedford – 9pm – Independence Day fireworks display – off barge, State Pier, New Bedford Harbor

Jamestown – 9:15pm – Beavertail State Park – Quiet Fireworks  

Portsmouth – 9:15pm – Escobar’s Farm is hosting its annual fireworks show

July 6

Attleboro -7/9pm – 25-minute laser show in lieu of fireworks on Saturday, July 6. Over the Attleboro High School Football Field. Gates open at 7 PM – food trucks, music and activities. Sit on the bleachers, or directly on the field with a blanket (no yard chairs on the Football field), the show starts at 9 PM.

Seekonk – 5pm – Seekonk Speedway Independence Day Thrill Show & Fireworks Display – Tickets can be purchased online and cost $25 for adults and $12 for kids, while children under age 5 are free.
