TikToker Dania Shah announces plans to join politics

TikToker Dania Shah, who recently made headlines due to her second marriage, has announced her intention to contest in the next general elections.

The announcement comes shortly after Dania Shah confirmed her marriage to lawyer Hakeem Shehzad through a video statement, followed by a wedding reception.

Since the announcement of their marriage, Dania Shah and her husband Hakeem Shehzad have been actively engaging with varioUS News outlets and local journalists.

In a recent interview with a local journalist, Hakeem Shehzad revealed the couple’s plans to enter Politics.

"My wife, Dania Shah, will contest the National Assembly seat from Lodhran, while I will run for the MNA seat from Shujaabad," Hakeem Shehzad disclosed.

He added, "We are both preparing for the upcoming elections. If we succeed, we will introduce a presidential system in Pakistan. I don't just talk; I deliver on my promises."

When asked about his views on Pakistan's political leaders, Hakeem Shehzad shared an intriguing perspective.

"A journalist once asked me who I would prefer to sit with if given the choice between Imran Khan, Asif Zardari, and Nawaz Sharif. I replied that I would prefer to sit with myself because I am a leader in my own right. Why should I follow anyone else?"

It's worth noting that before marrying Hakeem Shehzad, Dania Shah was married to the late Aamir Liaquat Hussain. For Hakeem Shehzad, this marks his fourth marriage.
