Teacher stuns with trick to checking your pulse using common pantry items
A third grade teacher from the US has sent the internet into a frenzy, showing how you can check your pulse with two simple household items.
Libby Richards, with the TikTok handle @libbymrichards, posted a video that has since received over 2.6 million views and hundreds of comments on the social media platform.

“When you tell kids you can see your pulse with just a marshmallow and a toothpick...” the video caption reads.
The footage shows by sticking a toothpick in a marshmallow and placing it on top of your wrist, you can watch it move to the rhythm of your pulse.
“Try different spots close to the pulse point on thumb side,” she explained in the comment section.
TikTok hack enthusiasts were thrilled with Richards’ revelation.
“Aka when you tell the entire internet,” one person wrote.
“Y’all my HS (high school) kids are going to love this,” said another.
“Not me as a nurse about to carry marshmallows and toothpicks in my scrubs,” said a third.
