Stray Cat Gets Adopted And Starts Copying Everything His Feline Brother Does

What started as a simple act of kindness towards a stray cat, led a woman named Jessica down a heartwarming path. A path where an unexpected bond between two feline friends blossomed into an inseparable friendship. 

One day, Jessica heard a meowing that sounded almost like a cry for help. She discovered a stray cat and brought him some food. However, this cat wasn’t like most strays…

After he finished eating, he approached Jessica and affectionately rubbed his head against her. She recalls:

“You can just tell how thankful he was. I got back in my car, and he followed me.”

Upon arriving at Jessica’s house, he acted as if he had always been there, snuggling up to her parents. He was dirty, so they decided to bathe him. Even in the water, he remained calm and trusted Jessica completely. She explains:

“We had no idea where he came from, if he was someone’s Pet, if he was just a stray.”

Shortly after, Jessica took him to the vet and learned that he was indeed a stray. That’s when she decided to adopt him:

“He’s no one’s cat, no one’s looking for him, so we’re gonna keep him.”

In their first few days together, Jessica wanted to keep him separated from her other cat, Maverick. She named her new feline friend Moo and prepared for the “process” of introducing the two cats.

Initially, she thought it would be a complex process for the two cats to get along. However, Maverick and Moo became best friends within just two hours.

Jessica couldn’t believe her eyes! Her two pets were becoming inseparable, and she couldn’t be happier about it.

Moo Becomes A CopyCat

Maverick and Moo started licking each other, playing together, and Moo showed his true personality as the most nurturing kitty ever. 

He quickly adapted to his new and forever home, even starting to imitate his buddy Maverick.

“Anything that Maverick wants to do, Moo has to do too.”

It’s a hilarious sight to see two cats doing the exact same thing. Whether it’s grooming, playing, or just sitting together, Moo follows Maverick’s lead. Check out the video below and see for yourself:

Maverick grooms himself, and so does Moo. Maverick eats a treat, so does Moo. Maverick sits in the corner of a room, and guess what? So – does – Moo. The same goes for everything they do, as Jessica shares:

“As soon as I have a toy in front of them, Moo doesn’t care until he sees Maverick playing with it.”

One of the funniest parts of their daily routine is when Jessica’s brushing her teeth. Maverick sits on the sink and watches her, and now, Moo sits and watches Maverick. It’s a hilarious chain reaction.

“You can tell he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He doesn’t know why we’re there. He just knows Maverick’s there, so that’s why he’s there.”

That was the moment Jessica realized Moo wasn’t her Pet anymore; he had become Maverick’s cat.

This unique rescue story just warms the heart, as Jessica believes that Moo was waiting for them. Now, Moo is happy, Maverick is content, and Jessica couldn’t be happier.

Jessica feels that they were meant to be together, and it fills her heart with joy to see the two of them doing everything together. She adds:

“I’m just very thankful I have them. I think they’re both thankful that they’re with me, too.”
