Stephen Curry hurt his ankle during this weekend’s showdown between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers.

With the (very messy) departure of Klay Thompson this offseason, the onus is on Curry more than ever to stay Healthy and guide the Warriors.

That made this scene all the more alarming:

After the Clippers Game, Kerr offered an update on Curry’s status.

“He’s doing okay,” Kerr said.

“He said it was, I think he used the word mild or moderate. He’s obviously sprained that ankle multiple times before, so he doesn’t think it’s too bad. It’s a concern and he’s going to get an MRI tonight.

“I didn’t have any conversations. When the training staff needs to tell me something, they come and tell me something, so I didn’t talk to them.”

Curry’s health is worth keeping an eye on.

The Warriors are asking him do a lot right now – and at a certain point that begins to wear players down.

Even superstars like Curry.

Will this tweaked ankle situation be something that continues to bother Curry as the season progresses? Time will tell.
