Sonny Angels’ Angels: Celebrities Who Own Or Collect the Cherub Figures
From a Spice Girl to an SNL favourite, here are some of the celebrities who own or collect Sonny Angel.
It’s unexplainable but dolls are all the craze now. Whether it’s the grinning monster Labubu or the cherub cutie Sonny Angel, people are populating and decorating their houses with these figures. In the case of Sonny Angels, you’ll probably also seem some of them hanging off phones and laptops. These cute figures have also captured the hearts of some celebrities who have also started to either collect them or just admire their adorableness. Here are some of the celebrities who own or collect Sonny Angel.

Celebrities who own or collect Sonny Angel
Victoria Beckham
The “working class” Spice Girl icon posted a photo on her Instagram story earlier this year with a certain small figure resting on her phone with its exposed little butt cheeks out. Sonny Angel fans immediately recognised the delightful cherub figure and were excited that some as legendary as Victoria Beckham had also hopped on the angelic bandwagon. Whether the artist and fashion designer is an avid collector of the angel figures is up for judgment but she was certainly delighted with them enough to have one on her phone case.
Bella Hadid
The American fashion model seems to be an avid collector of the cherub figurines. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Hadid posted a wall full of Sonny Angels featuring different versions and iterations of the figurine. It’s a safer collection than NFTs, that’s for sure. Judging by the wall, Hadi takes her Sonny Angels seriously much like fans of the figurine do.
Jennie Kim

Whether you’re a fan or not, it’s undeniable that Jennie exudes cuteness when excited. That’s exactly the case when she gets her hands on a mystery Sonny Angel figure. In a video, the Blackpink artist opens the box hoping to get a certain version of the figure and is ecstatic at the prospect that it might get recorded in real time. Unfortunately, she got a mint-coloured version of the angel figure instead. Better luck next time, Jennie.
Bowen Yang
The Saturday Night Live comedian has become a fan favourite on the long-running American sketch comedy show, from his recent sketches with Sydney Sweeney to his portrayal of the iceberg that sunk the Titanic (or rather, the iceberg that the Titanic violated). When Dua Lipa hosted the show a few months ago, a sketch featuring Yang revolved around the recently released film Challengers and, surprise, the angelic figures. It turns out that Yang is actually a Sonny Angel collector and wrote the sketch to give the figurines some air time and love. In regards to the Sonny Angel promise that “it may bring you happiness”, Yang said in a Vox interview, “There’s no ‘may’ involved. It’s an assured thing that a Sonny Angel will make you feel happy.”
Special mention: Dua Lipa
Whether the British singer collects them or is a fan is up for debate, but Dua Lipa will forever be associated with Sonny Angels thanks to Bowen Yang’s sketch on Saturday Night Live. The Challengers-inspired sketch has Lipa on a date at home with a man only for the man to realise his comPetition is her collection of Sonny Angels. Later on, she clarifies that he’s just up against one specific figure—played by Bowen Yang.
