Sonakshi Sinha stuns in Ansab Jahangir’s ivory saree
Sonakshi Sinha, who has captivated audiences with her portrayal of the enigmatic courtesan Fareedan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar continues to make waves. Now gracing the cover of Khush Magazine, the actor can be seen in a custom ensemble by Pakistani designer Ansab Jahangir.
Every bit the picture of regality and timeless elegance of Fareedan, Sonakshi features in cover shoot in a stunning ivory saree. Adorned with intricate gold embroidery and sequins, the ensemble perfectly reflects the grandeur and sophistication reminiscent of the 1940s Lahore setting of Heeramandi. The saree is complemented by a richly embroidered two-tone orange bandhani chaadar, adding a vibrant contrast to the otherwise monochromatic palette.

Sonakshi's jewellery is as captivating as her outfit. She wears a statement choker encrusted with pearls and green gemstones, which adds a royal touch to the ensemble. The oversized earrings and matching ring, also embedded with pearls and gemstones, further elevate the look, adding layers of intricate detail that draw the eye and enhance the overall glamour.
On the cosmetic front, the Singham actor’s makeup enhances her natural beauty while maintaining a sophisticated appeal. A smokey eye with subtle shimmer creates depth and highlights her expressive eyes while the well-defined brows add structure to her face. Sonakshi paired this with a muted peach lipstick on a flawless, dewy complexion that exudes a Healthy glow, achieved through expert contouring and highlighting.
From a fashion perspective, Ansab Jahangir's creation is a masterclass in striking the right balance between extravagance and subtlety. The meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail in the embroidery elevate the ensemble, making it a perfect fit for both bridal wear and high-fashion editorials. With this cross-border collab the latest to win style lovers, one has to admit that Sonakshi’s Fareedan reflects even in her other endeavours.
