Brazilian Football sensation, Neymar, sought solace and smiles as he met up with friends during his recovery from a foot surgery. The world-renowned Al Hilal star, sidelined with a foot injury, took to Instagram to share a photo of himself alongside his pals.

The gathering included former Golden State Warriors basketball player, Leandro Barbosa, Brazilian TV host Luciano Huck, and actor Rafael Zulu.

Neymar decided to use his injury-enforced break as an opportunity to reconnect with friends in his homeland. The superstar was pictured seated in a wheelchair, his injured foot protected by a medical boot.

In an official statement, Al Hilal confirmed, “The operation led by Dr. Rodrigo Lasmar went perfectly well. Neymar is sad, but understands that he has no alternative now. He will devote himself to being well as soon as possible. We will do our best to get him ready as soon as possible.”

 

The Brazilian Football federation also reported the procedure’s success, stating, “The operation is over, Neymar is already in his room. It went well.”
