Security ramped up for Bigg Boss star Munawar Faruqui amid Bishnoi gang threats

Munawar Faruqui, the winner of Bigg Boss 17 and host of Playground season 4, is reportedly on the hit list of the Bishnoi gang, leading to heightened security measures from Mumbai Police.

Following a perceived threat to his safety, sources revealed on Monday that Mumbai Police have increased protection for the comedian.

A senior officer confirmed, “We have provided him protection,” although they have not directly linked the threats to any specific group. However, speculation points towards the Bishnoi gang as the source of the threats.

This increase in security follows an incident in September, when Munawar was scheduled to attend an event in Delhi.

The Delhi Police's Special Cell received specific intelligence about a potential attack on him, prompting his immediate removal from the event and safe return to Mumbai under police protection.

Further details indicate that the intelligence regarding the threat emerged during an investigation into the murder of Delhi Businessman Nadir Shah.

An arrested shooter reportedly informed police that they had been surveilling a hotel where Faruqui was meant to stay while attending a match with fellow social media figure Elvish Yadav.

In response to these developments, the Mumbai Police are maintaining vigilance, ensuring that Munawar Faruqui remains under enhanced security amid ongoing concerns for his safety.

Salman Khan's security tightened after Baba Siddique's murder

After the murder of Indian politician and Salman Khan's friend Baba Siddique, security for the Bollywood megastar has been significantly tightened.

According to Indian media, following the tragic death of politician Baba Siddique, additional security personnel have been deployed at Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai.

Mumbai police officials stated that every possible measure is being taken to ensure the safety of Salman Khan and his family.

Salman Khan visited Baba Siddique’s family to offer his condolences and was visibly distressed upon leaving their home.

There are suspicions that Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster, may be involved in Siddique’s murder.

The Lawrence Bishnoi group has previously threatened to kill Salman Khan, and there has even been a firing incident at Khan's residence.

Bishnoi has also demanded that Khan apologize for his involvement in the blackbuck poaching case.
