Scary Movie Night in New Paltz Reschedule

Unfortunately, it seems that Mother Nature didn't get the memo. Water Street Market was scheduled to have a movie night tonight at 7 PM but it has had to be rescheduled.

New Paltz Community Wellness who has been behind many public movie nights in New Paltz set out to bring everyone together for a fun scary night at Water Street Market but sadly the rain has spoiled tonight's fun. The good news is that they can reschedule!

Movie Night in New Paltz Rescheduled Due to the Weather

New Paltz Community Wellness creates wonderful events throughout the year for people and families to enjoy. Movie nights are just one of the many things they plan in the community.  Earlier this summer they had a movie night at both Huguenot Street and the New Paltz Community Center.

On Monday, August 19, they were supposed to be showing Poltergeist at Water Street Market but due to the rain, they will be moving the show to Monday, August 26th at 7 PM. So make a plan to be there next Monday with your blanket or camping chair. Enjoy free popcorn and the movie in the courtyard in front of the Anties Barn and the Mudd Puddle.

New Paltz Community Wellness Will Show Poltergeist at Water Street Market

Many people can probably remember when seeing an outdoor movie at Water Street Market was an every week event during the summer months. It is wonderful to see the tradition return with a great group working hard to unite the community.

There are many events to enjoy throughout the year with the New Paltz Wellness Community. Follow them for upcoming events on Facebook. Last year in October they had a Halloween Window painting contest, it would be fun to see that happen again this year.
