What a weekend of title twists and turns as Celtic beat St Mirren and Rangers slip up at Dingwall against Ross County.

Goals from Reo Hatate, Kyogo and Adam Idah had put Celtic firmly in the driving seat before the Ross County Game yesterday but now that Rangers have lost that Game, the talk of Celtic winning the title has ramped up ahead of Rangers’ final Game-in-hand at Dens Park on Wednesday night.

But for Robbie Savage, it seems that he believes that the title is over after being asked by Chris Sutton who he thinks will win the title last night.

Robbie Savage – It’s Celtic’s to lose

Sutton has been keeping a balanced view on the run-in as he knows only too well how the tide can quickly turn after being involved in a final-day drama that he lost with Celtic back in his playing days.

When asked by Sutton who he thinks is in the driving seat for the title now, Savage said [BBC 606], “It’s Celtic’s, Chris.

“It’s Celtic’s to lose now for me. Especially because Rangers have got to Celtic now and have got to win that Game now as well as every other Game.

“A draw wouldn’t be good enough.”

To be fair, it is in Celtic’s hands now. No matter what Rangers do at Dens Park, Brendan Rodgers knows that he will be top of the league when the top-six split kicks off in less than two week’s time.

All eyes will be on the fixture schedule as the SPFL look to organise the final five Games of the season. The big one is the final Glasgow Derby of the season at Celtic Park.

Should Celtic win that, it would be very difficult to see any way back for Rangers and Rodgers could very well have more than one hand on the trophy.
