Pregnant Candiace Dillard-Bassett shows off baby bump in fiery gown at red carpet event
She’s one hot mama.
Candiace Dillard-Bassett showed off her growing baby bump for the first time in a tight red gown while hosting a musical event on Tuesday.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” alum –– who announced her pregnancy two weeks ago –– stunned in a Hervé Léger off-the-shoulder red dress ($590) with an embellished asymmetric sparkling strap while posing on the red carpet for the Grammys on the Hill Awards in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.
Dillard-Basset made the look her own by adding an opera-length red velvet glove that meshed perfectly with her asymmetrical sleeve.
The “Drive Back” singer, 37, accessorized the gown with red pointy-toed heels, gold dangle earrings and a simple silver bracelet over her right glove.
Dillard-Bassett cradled her baby bump with both of her hands and smiled in all of the sweet snaps. Her husband, Chris Bassett, didn’t appear to be present.
The former Bravolebrity hosted the annual event –– which took place at the Hamilton Live and honored musicians and politicians who “have led the fight for creators’ rights,” per a press release.
Country singer Sheryl Crow and Senators John Cornyn and Amy Klobuchar were specifically honored for their activism in the music industry.
Dillard-Bassett shared a series of photos and videos getting ready for the hosting gig and gushed about how she’s “super excited” and feels “super cool to be apart of” the evening.

The “Fine Whine” actress posed a selfie video, zooming in on her baby bump and later gave a peace sign while walking the red carPet in another Instagram Story.
In one of the reposted Instagram Story videos, Dillard-Bassett spoke on stage about how the night will “celebrate the leaders paving the way in the fight for the rights of music makers.”
Tuesday’s red carpet appearance marked her first public outing since announcing that she was pregnant with her first child with her husband on April 15.
“I am about 13 weeks … so just about into the second trimester,” she told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time. “It’s been weird, but also really wonderful, I think, to keep it kind of to ourselves to this point.”
The reality TV alum conceived through IVF and used the embryos she and Chris created a few years prior. The couple had a successful male and female embryo, so they let the doctors pick the gender, and they won’t find out until right before she gives birth.
