Peppermint Fudge - Karo
Ingredients
- ½ cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
- â…“ cup evaporated milk
- 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup chopped peppermint candy of choice, for topping
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the Karo® Light Corn Syrup and evaporated milk.
- Place in the microwave for a total of 3 minutes, stopping to stir every 30 seconds.
- Stir in chocolate chips, vanilla, and peppermint extract. Mix until completely melted and well-combined.
- Using a whisk, incorporate powdered sugar, mixing until smooth and no visible bits of powdered sugar remain.
- Pour into an 8" x 8" baking pan that has been lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with pieces of peppermint and refrigerate for 3 hours.
- Once chilled, cut into squares and enjoy!
