Paul Pierce Predicts How Lakers Will Do In Game 5 vs Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets for the first time in 12 tries on Saturday night to keep their season alive.

As things presently stand, Denver holds a 3-1 series advantage in their best-of-seven first-round playoff matchup against L.A.

While Lakers fans were understandably excited about what occurred in Game 4, Paul Pierce came out immediately and offered his prediction on Game 5.

It was a very Paul Pierce-esque call:

“Good news is Lakers win,” he tweeted. “Bad news they gotta fly to Denver to end series.”

LeBron James, for what is worth, doesn’t seem to care much about Pierce’s prediction. He plans to take things one game at a time.

“The only opportunity for us is to play the next Game and give ourselves another lifeline,” he said on Saturday night.

“It’s a one-game series for us. Monday’s game is the most important game of the season for us and we know that. We know that. If you lose you’re done, if you win you keep going. So, it’s not much to talk about.

“We won this Game and that was most important and now we gotta start focusing on the next one. We wanna try to play good basketball and focus on the next task, focus on Monday’s Game, and see what happens.”

Will the Lakers be able to shock the world on Monday and make this series against the Nuggets 3-2? Time will tell.
