One More Big Racing Event at Speedway In Middletown

It has been a busy year at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown even though the regular racing schedule did not happen this year. A special series of racing and other events filled the calendar.

Race fans were treated to a 3 race series this summer that just wrapped up. Races in June, August and early September this year kept race faces filling the grandstands and the drive-thru. So what is in store for Dirt track fans in October?

One More Big Weekend of Racing at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown

Orange County Fair Motocross will have their Season Showdown on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 and then the Speedway will ready itself for the annual Eastern States Weekend of racing.

What to Expect at Eastern States Weekend at Orange County Fair Speedway

Practice for Eastern States Weekend is set for Saturday, October 19th, 2024 with a rain date of Sunday the 20th. Gate opens at 3 PM. Practice time is 5 PM to 9 PM and Pit admission is $25.

Then the Following Wednesday is load-in for Eastern States Weekend that has 4 big days of racing excitement planned at the Orange County Fair Speedway.

It starts with the Hard Clay Finale Thursday Night October 24th, and wraps up on Sunday with BB Modifieds and Street Stocks. Plus there is a full schedule for Friday and Saturday.

This last big weekend will be fun and bittersweet for Hudson Valley Race fans. There have been talks about the Orange County Fair Speedway and the Fairgrounds being gone at some point. All of that is still unclear so for fans of dirt track racing at Orange County Fair Speedway we will have to wait and see if there is a season in 2025.
