Best early bet for NFL Week 16: Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers (-110)

The Steelers have been a complete disaster over the last 3 weeks. They were once in prime playoff contention – AFC North contention even – at 7-4, but they have since lost 3 in a row. And that doesn’t even begin to tell the real story. Those losses have come to Arizona and New England at home plus a 30-13 blowout at Indianapolis. Kenny Pickett is out, which means Mitch Trubisky is playing quarterback. But it hasn’t mattered who is under center and it probably won’t in Week 16. Cincinnati is playing a backup QB of its own, but Jake Browning has been outstanding in place of Joe Burrow. The Bengals have won 3 straight (2 in overtime) and they should be able to continue their winning streak without any trouble. A field goal is not enough for Pittsburgh – not even at home.
