Storylines

Newcastle United: Still without Fabian Schar due to suspension, the Magpies will have to go with a makeshift defense. It's one that won't include Marc Guehi with the center back staying at Crystal Palace. Keiran Trippier is also still at Newcastle with the transfer window shut so it will be interesting to see if he makes his way back into the starting XI. 

Team: Spurs will still be without Dominic Solanke who has an ankle injury but with Son Heung-Min scoring a brace against Everton, there is flexibility in the attack. Defensively Spurs will be tested by Alexander Isak but under Ange Postecoglou, this is an attack that can keep up with some of the best teams in the league. Looking to enter the international break on a high note before the North London derby against Arsenal, Spurs will want a victory here.
