Confirmed: Celtic Make Record-Breaking Signing

Celtic has confirmed the signing of Arne Engels, marking their second acquisition on deadline day.

The club confirmed that Engels has signed a four-year contract after Celtic agreed to an £11 million transfer fee with FC Augsburg, setting a new record for the highest amount the Scottish champions have paid for a player.

This acquisition comes just after Celtic parted ways with Matt O’Riley, who moved to Brighton for a substantial £30 million fee.

Engels, only 20 years old, is highly regarded for his skills in midfield and is expected to fill the void left by O’Riley.

Brendan Rodgers has been particularly keen on bringing Engels to Glasgow. Engels’ arrival is seen as a pivotal part of Celtic’s plans to strengthen their lineup as they aim to continue their domestic dominance and make an impact in European comPetitions.
