NBA Fans Stunned By What Kawhi Leonard Did At Kendrick Lamar Concert

Kendrick Lamar hosted a concert in Los Angeles this past week where he essentially danced on the grave of rival rapper, Drake.

Multiple NBA players showed up to the event and got on stage with Lamar, including Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan. LeBron James was also spotted in the stands, which is unsurprising given where his wife, Savannah, stands on the Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake beef.

On Friday, eagle-eyed fans noticed someone else in the stands of the concert: Los Angeles Clippers star, Kawhi Leonard.

The same fans couldn’t believe what they saw him doing at the event:

Fun times notwithstanding, Leonard is currently waiting with bated breath to see what happens with his teammate, Paul George.

George is an unrestricted free agent this summer and has the freedom to either re-sign with the Clippers or go elsewhere. Just this past week, a new NBA team jumped into the fray attempting to win his services.

Either way, it appears as though George has a lot of love for Leonard.

During a recent ESPN broadcast, Stephen A. Smith said that “nobody on the planet knows what it’s like to play without a star [more] than Paul George,” suggesting that Leonard is always injured.

George quickly came to his teaMMAte’s defense.

“I didn’t like that moment. I rock with Stephen A. obviously, but just let it go,” George said on a podcast this week.

“Kawhi wants to play, I will keep beating that over the head until I’m out of breath. He wants to play. (Smith) keeps making it something like Kawhi doesn’t want to play or he doesn’t want to be there.

“I think we rode Kawhi a lot this year to where it kind of got to the point of, ‘There’s only so much my body can take right now.’ We exhausted a lot out of Kawhi this season, and I just think at some point, your body breaks you down.”

Time will tell if George ultimately opts to re-sign with the Clippers or not, but either way, clearly he is on great terms with Leonard no matter what.
