The MLB season rolls on today with another exciting 12-Game slate on the docket. With nearly every team in action, there is plenty to attack and craft an MLB parlay. Let’s dive into today’s MLB parlay picks, with Games getting underway at 6:35 pm ET with the Guardians taking on the Orioles and concluding with the Cubs taking on the Giants at 9:45 pm ET. Dodgers -1.5 (+126)
Reds ML (-116)
Phillies vs Tigers over 8 (-110)
MLB parlay odds: +696
For this MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on the Dodgers to win by multiple runs, the Reds on the money line, plus the Phillies and Tigers to go over the listed total. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.
Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 over Chicago White Sox (+126)
To start off our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Los Angeles Dodgers on the run line. This is certainly a mismatch on paper, and even with Garrett Crochet on the mound for Chicago (31 strikeouts in last 19 innings pitched), the gap between these lineups is too much to justify a bet on the White Sox as short underdogs. In fact, Los Angeles sits at 4th in the league in team batting average (.257), 1st in OPS (.779), 3rd in home runs (108) and 3rd in runs scored (398). On the other side, the White Sox sit dead last in the majors in team batting average (.219), last in OPS (.624), 26th in home runs (68) and last in runs scored (243). Even though a lot of the Dodgers’ success came with Mookie Betts at the top of their lineup, it’s still hard to fade Los Angeles when it has the likes of Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith and Freddie Freeman still situated at the top of the order. Let’s back the Dodgers to win by multiple runs in this one.

Cincinnati Reds ML over Pittsburgh Pirates (-116)
For the second leg in our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Cincinnati Reds on the money line. This is a game where runs can be expected, as evident by the pregame total of 10 listed at most sportsbooks. However, Cincinnati has the clear edge in terms of offensive splits against left-handed pitching, which is what it’ll see against Bailey Falter on Monday. The Reds are 17th against lefties and they’ll get to take on a pitcher in Falter who holds an xERA of 5.13, plus strikeout and walk rates that are down from last season’s marks per Baseball Savant. Conversely, the Pirates lineup doesn’t hit right-handers all that well and Reds starter Carson Spiers has shown that he doesn’t walk hitters (top 9% in walk rate) and he doesn’t allow hard contact (top 17% in hard hit rate & barrel rate). I’ll take the home team with the better lineup and starting pitcher in this NL Central matchup.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Detroit Tigers Over 8 (-110)
To close out this MLB parlay, I have the over in this interleague matchup between the Phillies and Tigers. This is one of those Games where both offenses could really break out, especially the visiting Phillies. Philadelphia has struggled over the past couple of weeks, but this is still one of the best units in baseball at the plate, ranking inside the top 5 in runs scored per Game, hits per Game, batting average, OBP, SLG, OPS, home runs and stolen bases. Detroit starter Casey Mize is not someone you want to send to the mound against this group, as the right-hander holds a 4.43 ERA and has poor advanced numbers across the board as well (bottom 10% in strikeout rate, xBA and exit velocity). Even though Aaron Nola is on the mound for Philadelphia, Detroit should be able to scratch off a couple of runs against the veteran starter, who has fairly average advanced metrics despite his solid season thus far. It wouldn’t surprise me if this Game finished with 10+ combined runs, so let’s get to the window with the over.
