Orioles -1.5 (+110)

Reds vs Nationals over 8.5 (-115)

Guardians -1.5 (+160)

MLB parlay odds: +921

For this MLB parlay, I am going with a bet on the Orioles and Guardians to win by multiple runs, plus the Reds and Nationals to go over the total. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

We recommend betting on this MLB parlay with BetMGM, where you’ll get the best odds available and new users can get up to $1,500 in bonus bets paid back if their first wager doesn’t win! All you need to do to get started with BetMGM is click here.

Baltimore Orioles -1.5 over Texas Rangers (+110)

To start off our MLB parlay, I’m going with the Baltimore Orioles on the run line. This Rangers team won the 2023 World Series in large part due to development within their organization and Baltimore is looking to achieve the same goal, building their team from the ground up with a ton of prospects and some trade acquisitions. No trade addition has been larger for the club than Corbin Burnes, as the ace started in the All-Star Game for the American League and is in the midst of a Cy Young caliber season. Burnes draws a matchup against a Rangers lineup that ranks just 28th in wOBA with a 83 wRC+ against right-handed pitching since June 1, which gives him a serious edge in this one.

On the other side, Nathan Eovaldi will start this Game for the Rangers, and he’ll draw a far tougher matchup than his counterpart in Burnes. In fact, the Orioles rank 2nd in wOBA with a 133 wRC+ and the league’s 2nd highest rate of hard contact against right-handers since June 1. Eovaldi lives in the zone often, which is a dangerous Game against a lineup as strong as Baltimore’s. Let’s take the Orioles to win comfortably in this one.

Cincinnati Reds vs Washington Nationals over 8.5 (-115)

For the second leg in our MLB parlay, I’m going with the over in this National League matchup between the Reds and Nationals. It’s been pretty easy to fade Patrick Corbin and Frankie Montas this season, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do once again on Friday. With a 5.57 ERA and even less impressive underlying metrics thus far, it’s difficult to blame Corbin’s poor performance this season on any sort of bad luck. He now faces a Cincinnati offense that already earned 7 hits and 4 earned runs against Corbin back at the end of March. Over a combined 62 plate appearances from active Reds hitters against Corbin, they have a 1.214 OPS and 14 RBI. On the other side, Montas has allowed 3 or more earned runs in 9 of his 17 starts this season including 4 of his last 5 when pitching at Great American Ballpark. This looks to be a game where runs will be common, so let’s take the over.

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 over San Diego Padres (+160)

To close out this MLB parlay, I have the Cleveland Guardians on the run line. With an xERA of 3.36 and solid advanced metrics across the board, Guardians starter Tanner Bibee is in good position to succeed against a Padres lineup that has come down to earth in a major way this month following a red-hot June. For the visitors, knuckleballer Matt Waldron gets the ball and it’ll be an interesting question to see how that will play against a team like Cleveland that excels at putting the ball in play and keeping the pressure on the defense. Waldron doesn’t strike out a ton of people, instead relying on weak contact. I think this could backfire against a Guardians lineup that is as consistent as they come. It also helps that Cleveland’s bullpen holds a 2.62 ERA and might be the best unit in baseball. Let’s back Cleveland to cover the run line on Friday to wrap up our MLB parlay picks.
