The Detroit Tigers will send out Keider Montero for the start here and Montero is 0-2 with a 9.35 ERA and 11 strikeouts this season. This will be Montero’s first career start against Minnesota. Willi Castro leads the Twins at the dish with 81 hits including 21 doubles and 5 triples as well as 27 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. Minnesota Twins vs Detroit Tigers Prediction

I’m on the Twins here. I know this is a steep price for Festa in his second start, but he was better than the box score would indicate in that first outing, and Montero’s struggled in limited action for the Tigers this season. I think the Twins are simply the hotter team right now and while the bats woke up a bit for Detroit on Tuesday, it still wasn’t enough and I don’t think it will be here either. Give me Minnesota.
