The Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins meet Sunday in MLB action from Target Field. Here’s a Minnesota Twins vs Chicago White Sox prediction. This will be the final installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.

Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

In their last series the White Sox took on the Kansas City Royals. Chicago’s losing streak continued through that set with losses 8-5, 4-3 and 10-3. After a 10-2 loss to the Twins on Friday, in Game two the White Sox fell once again 6-2.

Chris Flexen will take the mound for the start on Sunday for Chicago. This year Flexen is 2-10 with a 5.13 ERA in 23 Games (21 starts). Over his career Flexen is 29-44 with a 4.98 ERA in 143 Games (101 starts).

Minnesota Twins Betting Preview

Over on the Twins’ side, they played the New York Mets this past week. Minnesota lost the first two Games 15-2 and 2-0 before halting the sweep on an 8-3 win Wednesday. On Saturday the Twins held the Sox to just three hits.

It’ll be Simeon Woods Richardson in the starter slot for the Twins on Sunday. This season Richardson is 3-2 with a 3.74 ERA in 18 starts. In his career Richardson is 3-3 with a 4.01 ERA in 20 Games (19 starts).

Minnesota Twins vs Chicago White Sox Prediction

I’m going to stay with the Twins I suppose. Probably not touching it, though; the line’s way too thick to mess with. Also, Richardson needs a bounce-back start here after surrendering six earned in 3.1 innings during a loss to the Mets on July 29. Prior to that however, Richardson posted 10.1 innings with two earned over two starts. As for Flexen, he’s given up 12 earned over his last 15.1 innings (seven in one start).

On Saturday the Twins got a nice starting effort from Bailey Ober on 7.0 innings and two earned. Minnesota only used two arms out of the pen so they should be set up well Sunday. I’m staying away regardless, though.

Andrew's Free Pick: Minnesota Twins -278
