The Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers meet Sunday in MLB action from American Family Field. Here’s a Milwaukee Brewers vs Chicago Cubs prediction. This will be the final installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.

Chicago Cubs Betting Preview

In their early-week series the Cubs took on the San Francisco Giants. Chicago lost the first three installments of that set 5-4, 5-1 and 4-3 before a finale win 5-3. The Cubs lost 4-2 in the Friday opener versus the Brewers, then on Saturday Chicago was out-hit 11-8 in a 5-3 victory. Justin Steele lasted 6.0 innings as starter with three earned on seven hits.

In the starter role for the Cubs on Sunday it’ll be Kyle Hendricks. This year Hendricks is 1-5 with a 6.87 ERA in 14 Games (nine starts). In his career Hendricks is 94-74 with a 3.61 ERA in 261 Games (255 starts).

Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview

Over on the Brewers’ side, they played three Games versus the Texas Rangers this week. Milwaukee won all three of those 6-3, 3-1 and 6-5. The Friday win over Chicago made for a five-Game win streak. On Saturday the Brewers gave up two runs in the eighth and couldn’t come back. Tobias Myers had 6.0 innings with three earned as starter.

Freddy Peralta will take the mound for the starting role Sunday. This year so far Peralta is 5-4 with a 4.03 ERA in 16 starts. Peralta is 47-31 with a 3.86 ERA in 162 career Games (113 starts).

Milwaukee Brewers vs Chicago Cubs Prediction

I’ll stay with the Cubs. We should have a pretty good starter matchup here, though. In his last three outings combined Hendricks is 1-1 with three earned runs in 17.0 innings total. As for Peralta, he’s 1-0 in his last pair with two earned in 11.0 innings of work.

On Saturday the Cubs blew a 2-0 lead and a 3-2 lead but still powered out the victory. Both Michael Busch and Ian Happ had two RBI and a homer in a pretty good offensive day, and the bullpen held strong. I like Chicago to keep it up Sunday.
